Nuffield Research Placements
Want to change someone’s life this Summer? We are always looking for academic or industry based research placements in any STEM subject for bright 17 year olds in July/August.

CREST Awards are undertaken by thousands of young people across the UK each year. STEM Ambassadors are welcome to get involved - either by mentoring students completing a relevant project, or training to assess the projects once complete.

Engineering Education Scheme
The Engineering Education Scheme links teams of four Year 12 or S5/S6 students and their teacher with local companies to work on real STEM projects over a period of about 6 months. If you think your company might be interested, click ‘more’ for further information.
Code Club is a nationwide network of after-school clubs for young people aged 9-11, run by volunteers following provided lesson plans. You just need basic coding skills and the enthusiasm to run or support a club local to you on a regular basis.

Greenpower work to inspire young people by getting them involved in building and racing electric cars at events around the UK. You can get involved by either supporting a team with their build (usually an after school club), or by volunteering on race days.
