Traditionally, STEM (science, technology, engineering, and maths) has been dominated by men. That was then, but now attitudes are changing, the value of women in STEM is being recognised and opportunities are growing.

UK Resource Centre for Women in SET

Are you a woman pursuing a career in science, engineering or technology?
Are you looking to return to a career in SET?
The UK Resource Centre for Women in SET can help you!

Whether you are a recent graduate, stuck in mid-career and looking for a change, or currently out of the workplace and hoping to return to work, on offer are a range of services, including help with job applications and interviews, work placements and a national programme of training and networking events.
On offer:
- A 10 week Open University online course:  Update your job seeking skills.  UKRC bursaries are available to cover the full cost.
- A Career Planning and Job Seeking Workshop:  A one day FREE event in London on 25th June.  They pay travel and childcare expenses.

To qualify:
- You must be a woman with a degree in a science, engineering or technology subject OR be currently working at graduate level.
- You must be either working, or wanting to work, in science, engineering or technology.
- Age is no barrier - you do not need to have a recent degree or recent job experience.
