STEM Sussex provide opportunities for businesses to work with schools to encourage enthusiasm in the STEM subjects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.

Engaging with education is an excellent way for businesses to enhance the communication and development skills of their employees and raise their profile in the community.

Nuffield Research Placements

Nuffield Research Placement students take part in science-based projects lasting four to six weeks during the summer holidays in universities, industry or research institutions. Students can provide you with extra support to help initiate, progress or complete work programmes.

Engineering Education Scheme

A professional scientist or engineer from a company works with a team of up to four high-ability Year 12 (lower sixth) students and their teacher over a period of five to six months. They work as a team on a real industrial problem for which the company needs a solution.
