Aspire to Engineer – The Genetic Engineering Challenge

Take part in this UK-wide school competition about genetic engineering to inspire your students and win your school a unique prize from the Natural History Museum ranging from a class visit to the Museum with a free workshop, a live ‘Virtual’ visit to meet the Museum scientists, or a visit to your classroom.
The Genetic Engineering Challenge invites schools to create engaging and inspirational presentations about genetic engineering and how it can tackle some of the world’s biggest challenges today. It is open to schools and colleges anywhere across the UK (student ages 7 - 18). STEM and science clubs are welcome.
How to Enter
Present an assembly, give a talk in class, make a Powerpoint, hold a debate, create drawings and designs... or do something else entirely!
To enter, schools must send in:
- A one-minute video or photos of your chosen activity
- A 200 word description explaining what you did
- A question from your class for one of our three experts
